Warszawska Orkiestra Sentymentalna

WARSAW SENTIMENTAL ORCHESTRA band has a penchant for old time favourites of pre-war Warsaw, revues, and films. Their repertoire includes the works of Adam Aston, Wiera Gran, Mieczysław Fogg, and other theatre and cinema stars.
The Warsaw Sentimental Orchestra is passionate about continuing revue traditions, encompassing the performance of sentimental and dance pieces, keeping alive their natural and timeless appeal while adding a touch of contemporary musical sensitivity to the pieces.

The band debuted in May 2015 at the New Tradition Polish Radio 2 Folk Festival. A year later, the band released their debut album “Umówmy się na dziś”.
In October 2017, they released their second album “Tańcz mój złoty”, an album with dance music inspirations, while in December of the same year, they released the “Śpiewnik kolędowy” album. Their “Płyń Wisełko” album dedicated to Polish soldiers came out in November 2018. This album has a light, foot-tapping dancefloor feel to it.

The Warsaw Sentimental Orchestra has quickly established itself and won over the hearts of a large group of listeners, giving concerts not only in their home city of Warsaw but also throughout the country. Some of the venues where they have performed include: Etnokraków/Rozstaje Festival, POLIN Museum of the History of Polish Jews, Mazurkas of the World Festival, Two Riversides Festival in Kazimierz Dolny, National Reading, The Władysław Szpilman Studio of Polish Radio 2, Cross Culture Festival in Warsaw, Cultural Binders Festival in Szczecin.
