Description
The “Belgian Times Ahead” series was created in the villages of Idzbark and Stare Jabłonki at the turn of the months of October and November 2015. There was a sense of a harsh approaching winter lingering in the air. I was getting ready to move into our newly built home. It was a time of transformations, closures, and an anticipation of new beginnings that were just about taking shape in the distance. It was during this time, too, that the atmosphere of a certain life stage coming to an end was becoming more and more dense, and it was as though I was wading in melancholy much alike heavy draught horses in the mist. And this is the topic of the series.
